Organic Half Bath

An atmosphere of tranquil luxury envelops guests in this unique powder room, which was inspired by a visit to Antonio Gaudi’s Casa Batllo in Barcelona and a stay in Santorini. The cavelike space features curved lines, organic shapes, and a warm color palette. An elegant Venetian plaster covers the walls, ceiling, hand-formed tree-trunk columns, and 3-D printed spiral light fixture. Undulating lines flow through the custom cherry mirror and vanity. A travertine countertop and terrazzo-like concrete floor contribute a pleasing textural contrast to the plaster. While the room’s footprint remains small, the addition of a toilet alcove and raised ceiling allow the eye to focus on the enchanting architectural features.
